Behind GuitarRec is Vicen Martínez, a guitarist, composer, and music producer from Barcelona with over 25 years of experience in touring and recording with artists on independent and major labels.
Throughout his career, Vicen has worked on tours and recordings with artists such as Pablo López, Maldita Nerea (as musical director), Sidonie, and Nena Daconte. He has also recorded guitars for songs by Carlos Baute, Gonzalo Hermida, Il Divo, and Pastora Soler.
As a online music producer, he has received a Gold Record for the more than 11 Million streams and 20,000 downloads of the single “Qué sabrá Neruda” by Javy Ramírez (Sony Music / Gestmusic). He has also composed music for advertising campaigns for brands like LaLiga TV, Rakuten, Job&Talent, and Editorial Planeta.
As a composer and singer, Vicen has recorded and released two albums and two EPs with his independent pop-rock project, Tripulante. Several singles from the project have been included in major Spotify playlists, such as Fresh Finds España and Novedades Indie.
He founded GuitarRec in 2011 as a recording and music production studio focused on offering songwriters and artists the possibility to professionally produce and record their songs from anywhere in the world. Thus becoming one of the pioneering projects in online music production.
