You only need a basic recording of the song you want to produce. It can be a demo or a simple recording using your phone with an instrument and vocals.

Of course! We can also create a production tailored to covers or versions of other artists.

If you have written lyrics, with or without a melody, we can help you complete the composition of your song before producing it. Tell us the details in the quote request.

You can record the vocals yourself if you have the minimal equipment (microphone, interface) and send us the tracks. You can also record at our studio in the Poblenou neighborhood of Barcelona, at one of our partner studios in Madrid, or at a studio near you and send us the tracks. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the entire process!

Of course! Although we make sure to fully understand what you’re looking for before starting production, once you receive the premix or final master, you can request the modifications you feel are necessary. If there are details to refine, modifications in the Complete Production package do not include recording or re-recording new instruments for the track. However, they do include edits and mix adjustments. Modifications in the Professional and Premium packages do include re-recording new tracks. Changes not covered in the selected package will be charged at an hourly studio rate (minimum €40/hour + VAT). Each round of modifications consists of a single email with a complete list of changes to be made.

In all our packages, you will have 100% ownership of the master recording and the rights for distribution and use of the recording (phonogram), with no limitations on plays, time, or platforms.

The copyright of the composition will always belong to the songwriter as long as we haven’t created any part of the composition (melody, harmony). At GuitarRec, we reserve the right to request copyright ownership as arrangers (normally between 10% and 15%) if we’ve made a significant contribution to the song, such as new melodies, intros, etc., following a prior agreement with the songwriter.
