Images from Vicen and Manel’s visit from GuitarRec Online Recording Studio to the legendary Abbey Road recording studio in London, on the occasion of the studio’s 80th-anniversary conference. The event took place in the iconic Studio 2, where bands such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Shadows, Cliff Richard, Radiohead, and Elliott Smith, among others, recorded their music.
Below are some photos we took, featuring vintage instruments and equipment used in recordings by some of the greatest artists during the 1960s and 1970s. Here’s a short video showing the interior of Abbey Road’s Studio 2 (notice the location of the Control Room up the stairs). Undoubtedly, recording in this studio and room is one of the greatest dreams for any online music producer.
