Vicen Martínez is the session guitarist for all the recordings in our online music studio. Based in Barcelona, he has over 20 years of experience as a professional guitarist in both studio and live settings.

Vicen has worked with artists such as Maldita Nerea, Pablo López, Sidonie, Antonio José, Nena Daconte, and has recorded guitars for artists ranging from Carlos Baute, Edurne, Marlena, Gonzalo Hermida, Il Divo, Pastora Soler, and countless independent projects.

He composed music for LaLiga, Job&Talent, and Editorial Planeta, among others, and received a gold record for the single Qué Sabrá Neruda by Javy Ramírez (Gestmusic/Sony Music Spain) as a guitarist and producer.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

You just need to send us an audio track (WAV or mp3) with the base or premix without guitars. You can also send us the STEMS (grouped by instruments) or a session in Pro Tools, Logic, or Ableton if you prefer. You can also send another premix with reference guitars if available. We appreciate that the base is recorded with a metronome and aligned to a click. 😊

Our studio is highly focused on guitar recording (hence the name 😉), and we have the best equipment: over 10 guitars (Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Gibson Les Paul Custom, 335, Standard, and J45 acoustic…), amplifiers (Fender Tone Master and Princeton, Marshall JCM900, VOX AC30 Vintage, Kemper Profiler simulator), an array of analog pedals, preamps (API, Chandler), and microphones such as the Neumann U87AI, AKG 414 b-uls, and Royer121 to record electric and acoustic guitars. We are constantly evolving, selecting the equipment that best fits the style of your song.

You will receive a premix with the recorded guitars and, once you approve it, we will send you the high-quality files in WAV (default in 24bit 44Khz, but you can request any other format). Additionally, if you request it before recording, you can receive the guitars recorded through DI for reamping later.

We’ve recorded for all kinds of styles, but we specialize in recording electric and acoustic guitars for any variety of pop, rock, indie, funk, urban, or acoustic/folk. We also add extra touches to the production like lap steel, mandolin, ukulele, or nylon string guitar (Spanish-style).
